Cancellation Policy

Bimbarent uses a flexible cancellation.

For Guests

  • Full refund of the prepayment, excluding bank transfer fees (bank charges are non-refundable), if the Owner rejects booking request, or Guest (you) cancel your request prior to the Owner’s confirmation;
  • 50% refund of the prepayment excluding bank transfer fees (bank charges are non-refundable) if the Guest cancels the reservation 6 (six) days or more before booking start date;
  • No refund if the Guest cancels within 5 (five ) days or less before booking start date.

The time of funds transfer depends on the bank or credit card issuer, as well as the method of payment and country of residence.

Bimbarent does not refund the money given to the Owner

Major Disruptive Events Cancellation Policy

If your cancellation is due to unforeseen circumstances and you would like a refund of your prepayment without service charges and penalty, please check the Major Disruptive Events Policy.

This Major Disruptive Events Policy explains how cancellations are handled when unforeseen events beyond your control arise after booking and make it impracticable or illegal to complete your reservation.

What does the Policy cover?

This Policy uses the term “Event” to refer to the following situations that occur after booking, are unforeseen at the time of booking, and prevent or legally prohibit completion of the reservation.

Updated government travel requirements. Unexpected changes in visa and passport laws, or travel bans at the state level, which make it impossible to reach your destination. This Circumstance does not include personal reasons affecting the guest’s right to travel.

Emergencies, epidemics and natural disasters. Emergencies, epidemics, pandemics on the ground, announced by the country’s authorities. Natural disasters or force majeure circumstances, other than the natural conditions typical of the region.

What is not covered

Other reasons that are not considered valid. Illness or injury; obligations imposed by the state, for example, subpoenas, conscription; government warnings about the risk to travelers, but not a travel ban; transfer of the event for which the reservation was made; transport disruptions (for example, road closures, canceled flights, trains, buses and ferries).

If Guest or Owner cancels the booking for any of the above reasons, the refund will be subject to a flexible cancellation.
