Bimbarent typically collects a service fee of 5% of the reservation subtotal when booking request is confirmed (from the Guest by prepayment online). You will receive the amount for the reservation on the day of the rental during a personal meeting with the guests.

What does bimbarent expect from transport owners?

Respond to booking requests within 24 hours. Do not cancel your bookings.

Add high-quality & beautiful photos of vehicle (listing with professional photos get 3-5 times more orders).

Before we publish your listing, we will ask for documents confirming the ownership, as well as any other document confirming the parking place (receipt for parking from the marine or airfield). This is how we monitor security, fight against scammers and more. Guests will not see your documents.

Vehicle rental in Ukraine

Downtime of the expensive transport is not a good idea. Even in the parking lot, it gets old, breaks down and loses value every day. Therefore, many owners rent their vehicles to charter companies. It is a useful tool for offsetting maintenance, repair & parking costs. Also with proper planning, there is also a solid income.

What type of transportation can be added?

We accept water transport (jet skis, catamarans, motorboats (from 5 meters), sailing yachts), aircraft (helicopters, airplanes, hot air balloons) and land transport (supercars, lux cars), buggy, ATV, Sherp, amphibious ATV, APC, BMP or tank and motorhome & campervan.

We do not accept rubber boats, SUP, medium and premium class cars.

How to calculate the best competitive price?

To determine the price, try to find similar listings in your area. If you can’t decide, write to us or send your listing for moderation and we will help you to set a competitive price.

What are the owner’s rules?

Rules help to cover the expectations of guests before the start of the booking. For example, you can set a rule as to whether a guest is allowed to bring a pet, smoke, drink strong alcohol.

Also, in the owner rules, you can tell the arrival time before the start, or about any other additional services.

How to start renting a vehicle with bimbarent?

Do I need a license?

In Ukrainian legislation, the issue of licensing such services is still ambiguous.

The captain, pilot, driver is responsible for safety during the charter.

A first aid kit, a fire extinguisher, life jackets, parachutes or other rescue equipment must be on board in accordance with the laws of Ukraine.

When will my listing appear on the platform?

Within 48 hours. When you add a new transport, we can request verification. This may include a photo of a driving license, documents for the transport and, in some cases, a receipts from the parking. Guests will not see your documents.

I have a team, how can everyone get access to the business account?

When signing up for a new account, do not use social media, but use an email + password that will be available to all team members. Notifications of new booking request will be sent to the mail, as well as to the telegram bot (there can be several mobile numbers).

If you already have an account on bimbarent, go to your profile and update email/password that will be available for authorization by your team. You can control bookings through your bimbarent account or through Google calendar (Later).

What information is available to guests?

bimbarent will provide guests & owners with each other’s contact information after booking request is confirmed. You will receive the guest’s name, phone number.

What is the service fee on bimbarent?

Booking requests are free of charge.

Bimbarent will charge a fee for a confirmation of reservation. Typically, this is 5%. The funds go to promotion of your listing in Google, social networks, support & develop the platform, pay taxes, salaries.

Unlike other services, you do not have to top up your balance in order to receive new booking requests.

We reserve the right to change our service fees at any time, and any changes will be made in accordance with our Terms of Service.

When do I get my rent money?

The guest pays the amount for the rental (except for prepayment online) before the start of the booking personally to the owner or his representative. The amount of payment is indicated in the reservation details.

What is the security deposit?

We understand how important it is to solve problems immediately on the spot. The security deposit works in the same way when you book a car. Upon completion of the rental and in the absence of damage, you will be refunded the full amount of the security deposit. Likewise, if everything remains unharmed after your rental, you return the full amount of the security deposit to the guests.

The security returnable deposit is an option in a listing. The absence of a security deposit may increase the number of booking request. Choose what is more important for you: the safety of the property or the number of bookings.

Can owners change the reservation date?

Yes, owners can change the booking date up to 48 hours before the start.

Before the new date is updated in the system, it must be confirmed by the guest.

The guest canceled the reservation. What should I do?

If your reservation was cancelled at bimbarent platform, you will receive a notification by email or SMS either telegram bot.

We are very sorry, so far claims for compensation will not be accepted. This is part of the risk in such kind of business.

Can owners cancel reservations?

Only new rental requests.

A confirmed reservation can only be canceled by the Guest. If you have a force majeure event contact the guest and offer a new date.

We do not charge cancellation penalties, but being able to find a solution to difficult situations can help you achieve “super-owner” status.

How do owners pay taxes?

Now, we do not assist in collecting taxes & tourist tax on your behalf. If you have a need to collect taxes from guests, specify in the rental policy the amount guests pay in addition upon arrival.
